The Amsterdam-based design house, Springtime, has developed an e-bike concept that’s focused on the student lifestyle segment of the urban bike culture.
Given the name, ‘Adam’ (which is short for the capital city), the team researched different cycling behaviors in the city, before finally coming up with a single-speed bike that incorporates a front wheel hub motor designed to assist the rider along tiresome terrain.
The Adam includes a detachable battery located on the handlebar, which is also an adaptable speaker and power cell.
Springtime is still looking for the financial means to bring the project to life, so maybe one day, Adam can meet the streets of the city that bears its name.
