Happy birthday to Guido Carlesi who was born on November 7, 1936. The Italian cyclist’s palmares include several stage victories in the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia throughout the late 1950’s into the mid 1960’s. His most memorable achievement was finishing 2nd in the overall classification 1961 Tour de France.
