Ridley Launches "Juniors" Road and Cyclocross Model

It’s nice to see that some bike manufactures have the interests of aspiring, young road cyclists in mind. Such is the case with Ridley.

The well-known Belgian brand announced recently, the launch of a new "juniors" road and cyclocross bike.

Predicated on an aluminum 6061-T6 sloping frame, both models feature Tektro mini V-brakes, along with Shimano’s Claris 2×8 drivetrain with 155mm cranks, 46/34 rings and a 13/26 cassette.

In addition, the bikes are equipped with a shallow reach 380mm wide handlebar and 27.2 post. The Wheels are built using Alex 19 double wall rims, along with Schwalbe CX Pro 26×1.35 tires.

The only difference with the road version, is the switch to Kenda RoadRace 26″ x 23c tires.
