Bianchi Opens New Pop-Up Bike Shop in Munich

The Italian marquee, Bianchi, announced the opening of a new “op-up” shop in heart of Munich.

The new 2000sqft store opened last week inside Eataly Schrannenhalle – Munich’s Italian food market.

Bianchi says, “the new shop combines technology, performance, Italian design and lifestyle, showcasing Bianchi’s complete range of bicycles, accessories and apparel”, such as the new ultralight Specialissima with Countervail vibration canceling technology, Methanol mountain-bikes and the All-Road gravel models.

In addition to retail and mechanical services, Bianchi’s new store, features Shimano’s state-of-the-art fitting system, to provide customers with the ideal “fit” when choosing their new bike.

“I’m really proud to be have been invited to partner together with Eataly and Oscar Farinetti. I’m glad to dive into this new exciting project here in Munich, in one of the greatest European markets. Our Bianchi bicycle shop and Eataly will contribute to eachother incredibly well. This is an important marketing opportunity, both for the promotion of our bikes and to provide closer support to our dealers” Bianchi’s owner Salvatore Grimaldi stated.

The Munich store marks Bianchi’s first “pop-up” shop of its kind in Europe, and the brands hopes to open up more like it in other countries.
