Brooks Unveils Cambium C15 Carved Saddle

Brooks unveiled its new Cambium C15 Carved saddle, which features a cutaway channel for improved comfort.

The new C15 Carved, is essentially the same saddle as the iconic British brand’s original C17, albeit with a narrower width of 140mm, as compared to the C17’s 162mm.

The cutaway feature, is intended to eliminate pressure points in the area of perinea; especially during longer rides.

In addition to the cutaway channel, the new saddle features the same shape as the regular C15. It also has the same vulcanized natural rubber and organic cotton construction, along with an aluminum skeleton and tubular steel rails.

Brooks says, the weight for this new Curved is 395g, and it available in 2 colors with an MSRP of around $160.

Overview

The Cambium C15 Carved shares the same narrower shape as the existing Cambium C15, but with an ergonomic cut-out to provide relief from discomfort in the perineal area, experienced by some cyclists.

This “registered cutting, a sure preventive to all perenial pressure” is also to be found in the saddles of the Brooks Imperial line.

Made from vulcanized natural rubber and organic cotton top, combined with a die-cast aluminum structure and tubular steel rails. For performance, a distinct dampening effect is delivered by the classic Brooks “hammock” construction keeping the rider in unparalleled comfort mile after mile.

A sensible choice for the performance or sports cyclist.
