Taking the premise that the rider constitutes 80% to 90% of the aerodynamic drag on the bike, ENVE has launched a new aero stem that’s designed to allow cyclists to better refine their position in order to achieve better wind cheating capabilities.
Developed alongside Team Data Dimension, ENVE’s new Aero Road Stem is made from a piece of monobloc carbon, along with an aluminum faceplate and titanium hardware, which can be shimmed to obtain either -12° fixed position, or a -17°/-7° rise.
According to ENVE, the 170g Aero Road Stem is available in lengths of 100, 110, 120, 130, 140mm, and retails for $300.
