Slim Chance Frameset

Chris Chance cut his frame building teeth making custom road frames way back in 1979, over the years he learned a thing or two about making the perfect road frame.

By 1991, Chance took everything he’d learned from making mountain bikes at Fat City and applied it to a new generation of road bike. The result was the original Slim Chance which set a new benchmark for steel road bikes as one of the very first production TIG welded road frames.

25 years later the Slim Chance is back! Updated where it counts with larger tubing profiles, a carbon fork and modern geometry.. but keeping the essentials of the original; Chris Chance designed frame and size specific tube selection, threaded BB, lightweight, fast handling, and finished off with the original graphics, stainless steel head badge and 4 color options inspired by the original.

Here’s the essentials on the new Slim Chance:

  • Available as a frame, ENVE carbon fork and Chris King headset package for $2295.
  • Segmented steel Yo Road Fork will be available as an option in the coming weeks.
  • Painted stem upgrade options; Carbon (ENVE) for $355, Alloy for $250.
  • Choice of mechanical or electronic shifting options at no extra charge.
  • 4 colors inspired some of our favorite Slim’s from the past; Blue, Pearl White, Pale Yellow and Red.
  • Framesets ship in 4-6 weeks, complete bikes in 6-8 weeks.
