Garneau has been a fixture in the cycling apparel industry for as long as anyone can remember.

Known for its vast range of high quality four-season apparel, to include a full custom “kit” division, it comes as no surprise that the Quebec, Canada based company was one of the recipients of Polartec’s 2016 Apex Awards this week.

Garneau received the award for its new Cove Hybrid Jacket and Rocket Skirt, marking the second time the brand has won the award.

“This award speaks to the significance of product development at Garneau. We are proud to collaborate with such an innovative fabric technology partner as Polartec,” says Katy Bond, Director of Apparel at Garneau. “We share a passion to design products that improve our enjoyment of the outdoor sports we love.”

According to Garneau, the Cove Hybrid Jacket uses Polartec Alpha insulation panels, making it a highly breathable, lightweight and warm jacket that won’t cause overheating – perfect for winter riding.

Utilizing the same Polartec Alpha insulation, the Rocket Skirt is a versatile piece and is perfect for pulling over tights for added warmth in cold conditions or after training – offering ideal optimal thermoregulation without restricting motion.
