Limar Unveils New Lux Ultralight Helmet

Slick looking lightweight cycling helmets are nothing new to Limar, as the Italian brand has consistently earned itself the distinction of offering some of the lightest helmets in the realm of road cycling.

However, weighing in at a scant 200g (size medium) Limar’s new Lux Ultralight pushes the boundaries of lightweight cycling lids into a new category of svelte.

In the past, Limar has defied gravity by limiting the number of features on their helmets, instead choosing to keep their designs pretty straightforward.

In the case of the Lux Ultralight however, cyclists are treated to special internal netting (think bugs) and a three-way LED light that mounts atop the rear tension dial, while twenty-two vents provide optimal ventilation.

The Lux Ultralight is available in just two sizes (medium and large), along with a choice of three colorways for €179,95.

Features:

  • Technology: Monoshell In-mould – Superlight technology
  • Air vents: Superior ventilation with 22 air vents
  • Sizing system: Competition+ Fit-System with height adjustment
  • Pads: Antibacterial pads
  • Design: Slick Fit – Compact design
  • Bug Net: Yes
  • Special technical feature: 3 functions removable tail light with battery (blinking – steady – off)
