Team for 2015 Giro d”Italia Announced

The organizers for the Giro d”Italia, RCS Sport, announced the provisional list of teams scheduled to particiapted in this year’s race.

The three week race will begin on Saturday May 9, with a traditional team time trial as part of this year’s 3,489 kilometer route from San Lorenzo al Mare, while concluding in Milan on May 31.

The previous four winners, Damiano Cunego (2004), Ivan Basso (2006 and 2010), Alberto Contador (2008) and Ryder Hesjedal (2012), have all been confirmed to ride in this year’s Italian Grand Tour.
