The VeloSled Brings a Full Carbon Design to the Cargo Bike Segment

Touting lightweight and durability as its hallmarks, the VeloSled brings a full-carbon construction to the cargo bike segment.

Featuring a wishbone suspension, adjustable steering angles, 400 pound (200 kilos) carrying capacity and the option for adding an electric motor, Coh&C claims its VeloSled represents the lightest and most robust cargo bike yet.

“Reinterpreting the two-wheeled cargo bike, our Velosled has a lot of room for transporting adults as well as children not to mention the groceries or any other cargo. Manufactured with a full carbon frame this bike is lighter, stiffer and stronger than has ever been seen before”, says the Dutch company.

The VeloSled was first introduced last February, and has since been making public appearances at trade shows around Europe, including last month’s Eurobike show in Germany.

The VeloSled is due for release in September with a starting price of around $3,500 (€3,000).
