Joe Dombrowski (Cannondale-Garmin) claimed the overall title in this year’s Tour of Utah today, as Lachlan Norris (Drapac Professional Cycling) took the 7th and final stage.
Meanwhile, Norris and Brent Bookwalter (BMC Racing Team) finished almost shoulder to shoulder following the final descent off of the challenging climb of the Empire Pass, while Natnael Berhane (MTN-Qhubeka) rounded out the podium in third.
Despite finishing in 9th position, it was enough for Dombrowski to secure the yellow jersey.
Fortunately, Michael Woods (Optum-Kelly Benefit Strategies) survived a slight mishap during the final left-hand corner, to hold onto second place in the GC, while Bookwalter took third spot on the podium.
