Tayler Wiles won stage 2 of this year’s inaugural Women’s USA Pro Challenge, in a sprint finish, following 58-miles (93km) of racing from Loveland to Fort Collins.

Meanwhile, Lauren Komanski (Twenty16-Sho-Air) crossed the line in second spot, followed by her teammate, Kristin Armstrong, who rounded out the podium in third.

However, despite finishing in third spot today, Armstrong managed to retain her lead in the overall classification.

Race Details

The duo of, Coryn Rivera (UnitedHealthcare) and Robin Farina (BMW-Happy Tooth Dental), rode out front for most of today’s stage. However, the pair were eventually reeled in by the peloton.

From there, the quartet of Wiles, Komanski, Armstrong, and Mara Abbott (Amy D Foundation) came to form the next breakaway group, which served to hold until today’s finale – with Wiles emerging as the strongest rider.
