Brompton has launched its latest P Line range of folding bikes, touting lighter, faster performance for city dwellers thanks to a new titanium frame, CNC-milled aluminum components and a carbon fork, reducing the overall weight by an impressive 4.4 pounds compared to the British brand’s C Line.

“The P Line flows with your day. This lightweight folding bike masters the city with agile confidence. It transforms in seconds, gliding like a suitcase and lifting with ease. Upgraded components deliver a smoother, more efficient ride. When everything connects, you feel the freedom. We call it performance,” boasts Brompton. 

However, saving weight didn’t stop there, as Brompton managed to shave additional grams courtesy of a new Superlight Saddle that’s a claimed 23% lighter than the standard seat found on the C Line, while still retaining the same mounts and loops to accommodate luggage and bike lights.

Elsewhere, the P Line sees the addition of shorter 160mm cranks for smoother, more efficient pedalling, along with a 54-tooth chainring to reduce chain movement, as well as a wider aluminium handlebar for greater control. And, finally, new hinge clamps for faster, more precise folding.

Like all of Brompton’s bikes, the P Line is handmade in the UK, with pricing starting at $3,550.00.
