Today’s 164.7 kilometer stage traveled from Freilassing to Reit im Winkl Winklmoos-Alm.
Frank finished ahead of Thibaut Pinot (FDJ.fr) and Leopold Konig (Team NetApp-Endura).
The Swiss rider took over the lead of the general classification from his IAM Cycling teammate Heinrich Haussler, and leads Pinot by 5 seconds, and König in third, three further seconds back.
