Happy birthday to Luigi Ganna, who was born on this day in 1883, and died on October 2, 1957.
The Italian rider is best remembered for winning the inaugural Giro d’Italia in 1909, as well as the famous Milan-San Remo Classic in it’s 3rd edition in 1909.
