The organizers for the Tour of Utah confirmed this week, that 14 teams are scheduled to participate in this year’s inaugural women’s event, along with 7 additional composite teams that will be announced next month.
This year’s race will begin on August 6, marking the first time in it’s 10-year history, that a women’s event has been added to the week long event.
The women’s race will get underway during stage 3 of the men’s event, which will feature 15 laps around the Miller Motorsports Park’s 2.2-mile course.
Following the women’s race, the Chase Pinkham Memorial Criterium for amateur men, women and juniors will take place at the motorsports park as well.

INAUGURAL WOMEN’S RACE Race

Time: 12:00 PM – Sign in Ceremony 12:30-2:00 PM –Race
Location: Miller Motorsports Park, Tooele, Utah
Description: Circuit Race (15 laps on 2.2 miles of circuit) to be raced under USA Cycling rules and permit
Entry Fee: $120 for a team of 4-5 riders
$180 for a team of 6-8 riders
The Tour of Utah is proud to announce the addition of a women’s circuit race to Stage 3 presented by the Utah Sports Commission. For the first time in its 10-year history, the Tour of Utah will feature professional and elite women’s teams competing on the men’s Stage 3 finishing circuit—a 15-lap race on Miller Motorsports Park’s 2.2-mile course.
Professional, domestic elite, and established women’s cycling teams—as well as qualified individuals interested in joining a composite team—are invited to request an invitation for this historic first. Invitations and teams will be announced starting June 16.
