Paola Gianotti broke the Guinness World Record for a women circling the globe by bike – last weekend.
The Italian cyclist was met with cheers, as she arrived in her home town in Northern Italy on Sunday,, after pedaling more 18,000 miles around the world in 144 days.
The previous record was set by Juliana Buhring back in 2012, when she covered the trek in 152 days. However, unlike Gianotti, Buhring set her record without vehicle support.
Regardless, with or without support, both are amazing accomplishments.
