If “eye-talian” road bikes are you thing, Botecchia’s latest unveiling, the EMME 695 Competition road bike, will likely satisfy your desire.
The EMME, which is handmade in Italy using a precise tube-to-tube carbon fabrication process, is undoubtably the work of Sarto.
In addition, Bottecchia’s flagship road bike, features all of the prerequisites of today’s lightest bikes, such as specially sculpted tube shapes and profiles, to include ultra slim rear stays, a pressfit 86 bottom bracket, 27.2 seatpost and a tapered head tube with a 1 1/2in lower bearing diameter.
In the end, Bottecchia has yielded a frameset that they say delivers all-out performance and comfort, in a super lightweight design, that you guessed it, weighs a scant 695 grams.
The EMME, is available in both stock sizes, as well as custom geometries, and is available with a number of build kits – ranging from Shimano to Campagnolo Super Record EPS.
