Fans of the Dutch rider and adherents of the German brand are united with the launch of Canyon’s special edition Mathieu van der Poel Aeroad CFR road bike.
Dubbed the Aeroad CFR MVDP, the bike is adorned with a classic white paint scheme that’s treated to all manner of 3D MVDP logo decals, special-edition artwork and other unique touches.
Elsewhere, the bike is equipped with a 12-speed Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, including a dual-sided power meter that’s integrated into the 52/36t crankset, while rotational force is applied courtesy of a 60mm profile Shimano Dura-Ace wheelset.
The Aeroad CFR MVDP is further punctuated by a Selle Italia Flite Boost Kit Carbonio Superflow MVDP saddle.
The Aeroad CFR MVDP was unveiled yesterday ahead of stage 9 of the Tour de France in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, the hometown of Mathieu van der Poel’s grandfather, cycling great Raymond Poulidor, who finished on the Tour de France podium no fewer than eight times.
