Cinelli has partnered with Artist Yinka Ilori for a limited edition “Dream Together, You Can Still Win” capsule collection that spans a dazzling cycling jersey and cap, along with an equally striking casual T-shirt and the Italian brand’s Vigorelli frameset that’s bedecked in all-manner of organic green and orange graphics.
“Bike culture has been an integral part of my childhood, shaping many of my experiences as an inner city kid in London. The bike itself symbolizes freedom – it’s a tool which allows you to venture, to escape and to expand your horizons,“ says Ilori.
“Cinelli holds a decades-long reputation for collaborating with creatives, exploring the interplay between art and cycling. It’s a pleasure to be able to contribute my own spin on this, collaborating with Cinelli’s creative team to take cycling back to its essence,” he adds.
To launch the collection, Cinelli will be hosting an event in Milan on September 29, which will also feature an exhibition of vintage bikes and a community ride that will visit some of Milan’s cultural and creative hot spots.
