Whether hitting the boards or traversing the cityscape, track cyclists and fixed-gear riders alike will rejoice knowing DT Swiss has launched two new track specific wheelsets called the TRC 1400 Dicut and T 1800 Classic.
The TRC 1400 Dicut features a 62mm deep rim profile that’s built with DT’s Aerolite spokes and hidden nipples that are laced into a straight-pull 240 Dicut aero track hubset, while the 20mm wide, hookless rim is tubeless-ready.
All in, DT Swiss says the new wheelset tips the scales at a claimed 1689g (803g F / 886g R), which sells for $2,387.
The shallower profile T 1800 Classic has 30mm deep aluminum rim that’s fitted with high-flange, bolt-on DT Swiss 370 track hubs spun up with with Aerolite bladed spokes and external nipples. Like its more expensive counterpart, the wheelset also has a 20mm wide hooked internal that’s tubeless-ready.
Weighing in at 1899g, the T 1800 Classic fetches $688.
