Garbaruk Defies Gravity with New Lighweight Crankset

Garbaruk is defying gravity with the launch of its new lightweight crankset that’s aimed at both the road and gravel segments, offering enthusiasts a lightweight and extremely durable alternative to expensive carbon fiber. Plus, there are lots of stylish color options as well.

Garbaruk became synonymous with bespoke chainrings, cassettes and other hardware, launching its first MTB-specific crankset in 2019. Now, the Polish brand has turned its attention to roadies and gravel grinders alike, offering a crankset with a slimmer Q-factor and a lightweight construction that’s optimized for 1x drivetrains.

CNC-machined from 7075-T651 aluminum, the crankset features a two-part construction that’s bonded together, resulting in less weight, while bolstering stiffness and durability, tipping the scales as little as 409g without chainrings.

Featuring a 152mm Q-factor and 130.5mm x 30mm spindle, the crankset is designed to work with either a 47.5mm or 45mm chain-line offset, utilizing a direct mount standard, with offerings in both round and oval chainrings that span 38t to 46T, along with 4.5mm offset that can work with 10/11/12-speed chains.

Available in either 170 or 175mm lengths, the new crankset is offered in eight anodized colors for the crankarms, as well as the option of matching or contrasting self-extractors for $420, while the choice of chainring adds $84.
