Idyllic conditions marked the day for this year’s GranFondo New York, which saw thousands of riders participate in this weekend’s premier sportive event.
Riders began the race at the George Washington Bridge and rode north following the Hudson River along rural roads and scenic towns.
From there, riders faced a series of challenging climbs, with featured this year’s Cima Coppi (highest point of the ride), a four mile climb up Bear Mountain in Harriman State Park.
Following the climb to Bear Mountain, riders descended their way back – to finish in Weehawken, New Jersey.
Here are some photos and videos highlighting the event.
