GURU has introduced a new motion-capture software program called Range of Right, that is designed to work with the company’s current bike fit system, as well as with other fit bikes on the market.
According to GURU, the Range of Right uses Microsoft Kinect 2.0 camera technology to provide real-time rider body angles, providing accurate measurements for optimal bike fit.
The software licenses for Range of Right will be provided at no additional cost to current active GURU dealers, while non-GURU dealers can purchase a software license and technology package.
“Guru is always looking for new ways to deliver premium experiences for our dealers and consumers and I’m thrilled that Range of Right will provide a more dynamic method to get more riders on the right-sized bike,” said Sam Dodge, global business manager for Guru.
Guru will be hosting Range of Right education courses through the end of 2016 and a full schedule of classes for 2017.
GURU education classes will continue to be held at the Guru Academy, as well as regional training facilities.
