Hunt Releases New Limitless Gravel Adventure Wheelset

Hunt has released its latest wheelset dubbed the Limitless Gravel Adventure, targeting gravel cyclists and bikepackers alike with a set of new hoops that feature both a wider internal and external rim profile in order to accommodate a wide range of tire options.

Comprising the same fabrication process as Hunt’s road wheels, the Limitless Gravel Adventure also utilizes the British brand’s mix of low-density polymer and carbon fiber to create a 42mm, U-shaped wheelset that tips the scales at a respectable 1,642 grams.

Elsewhere, the Limitless Gravel Adventure features a hooked bead for maximum compatibility with both tubed and tubeless set-ups, as well as an increased spoke count of 24 front and 28 rear with brass nipples for added durability.

Additionally, the wheelset spins on upgraded hubs, which are fitted with a double floating ratchet freehub, resulting in an improved engagement angle of 9 degrees. Moreover, the freehub body is ceramic coated to protect against gauging, while double-sealed Revo steel bearings treated with heat-resistant grease ensure smoothness.  

Slated for August release, the Limitless Gravel Adventure is available for pre-order on Hunt’s site for $1,642.
