Le Col has partnered with Wahoo on a new collection of cycling apparel, targeting the indoor cyclists with lightweight, breathable garments that are designed to handle the rigors of stationary training.
The collection features ultra lightweight fabric for a second skin feel, while 3D mesh material claims to “beat the heat and ventilate like no other” thanks to Italian made fabrics that comprise a mix of 80% Polyamide and 20% Elastane that work best in temperatures ranging from 20-40°C.
Additionally, the garments also comprise silicone banding along the hems and sleeves in order to ensure a secure fit.
“Over recent years we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of people choosing to ride indoors,” said Mike Saturnia, Wahoo CEO. “With this second collection, Le Col have once again developed industry-leading technical training apparel to perform during even the most intense indoor rides.”
“We want to ensure Wahooligans everywhere have the tools they need to maximise every moment of their indoor workout, and this collaboration with Le Col proves that apparel forms a crucial piece of the training ecosystem,” he adds.
The kit includes jerseys, bib shorts, caps and socks, which come in two limited colorways.
“The Le Col x Wahoo Indoor Collection is a team effort, informed with data from Wahoo to allow you to perform at your best during indoor sessions,” says Le Col founder Yanto Barker.
“We’ve brought together innovative, breathable and fast wicking materials with a signature race-ready pro fit for the support you need when at race pace,” he adds.
Le Col also recently launched its own Pro Indoor Collection, which is available at lecol.cc.
According to the British brand, it features “innovative FeelFresh technology locking away sweat fast to keep you cool no matter how hard the effort.”
