MAAP Unveils New Road Apparel Collection

Known for its boutique apparel offerings, MAAP has unveiled its latest road collection to coincided with the Melbourne brand’s “Equinox Experience”, a selection of innovative new togs for roadies that bring about fresh graphics and new styles.

“Our new collection lands in time for MAAP’s Equinox Experience – twice a year the world is in balance, with ’12 hours of light’ stretching across both hemispheres, creating the opportunity to test the limits and transition well into a new season together. This edition, taking place in the week of the September Equinox, September 16th to the 22nd, riders will be challenged to get out and chase the light for 12 hours with rides hosted at MAAP LaBs, MAAP wholesale partners and MAAP ambassadors around the world. Cyclists the world over will be able to take part in rides near them or go solo as we join this solar cycle as one – it’s time to chase the light,” explains MAAP.

The Equnix collection sees the debut of the new Flow series of jackets and vests, along with a range of super lightweight, packable windproof layers that are perfect for the changeable conditions so often found in the approaching shoulder seasons.

The Flow Jackets and Vests feature wind-blocking materials on the front and rear with air-permeable side panels and a laser-cut perforated rear panel for unmatched breathability, while the fabric features inbuilt mechanical stretch and an articulated cut for a close yet unrestrictive fit that allows riders to cut through the wind

Additionally, the new Flow Jacket and Vest range also features a thermal version constructed with super lightweight Teijin Octa insulation that offers incredible warming properties at a fraction of the weight and thickness of regular fleece-like fabrics, resulting in a versatile garment that remains highly packable.

Also new from the collection are the Team Bib Evo Cargo Thermal and Thermal Toe Covers, comprising the addition of cargo pockets on the bibshort, as well as elasticated side pockets allowing riders to pack more and ride further, while the Thermal Toe Covers provide warmth when chilly conditions sett in but a full overshoe is not yet needed.

Lastly, the latest season of MAAP’s high-performance road collection also sees the introduction of new graphic capsules such as Evade X, a reinterpretation of MAAP’s signature, and the best-selling Evade range, featuring bold, neon logos that contrast with cool natural jersey tones.

To complete the collection, a host of new seasonal colors can be found across MAAP’s range of Evade jerseys, Team Bib Evo Cargo Bibs, Atmos jackets and vests and also the Training Collection.
