Maxxis has rolled out a new 120TPI compound called HYPR-X for its Receptor, Rambler, Ravager and Reaver range of gravel tires, touting a 19% improvement in traction and 25% less rolling resistance, while durability and puncture protection is further bolstered by the brand’s EXO sidewall technology.
Additionally, the range of tires has been treated to a new look as well, featuring updated graphics on the sidewalls, as well as Maxxis’ commitment to the environment by using recyclable paper for its packaging.
Maxxis says, the Reaver and the Ramblerin 700×45 will be the first tires available with the new HYPR-X compound, with other sizes to follow over the next three months, while all sizes of the Ravager and the Receptor are expected to launch in the fall of 2025.
