MET is targeting the urban cycling segment with the launch of its new E-Mob helmet, touting it as one of the lightest lids to meet NTA 8776 certification.
Tipping the scales at a claimed 365 grams for a size medium, MET pitches the E-Mob as the ideal helmet for city dwellers who have both safety and sustainability in mind.
“As cities evolve and embrace the importance of slow mobility, we are excited to present a new addition to the urban commuting experience with the E-Mob helmet In the pursuit of safeguarding our planet and enhancing the lifestyle of urban dwellers, we’ve meticulously crafted a helmet that redefines safety, comfort, and visibility for the contemporary commuter. We’ve incorporated the best safety technology and subjected our helmet to the highest levels of testing, ensuring that it stands as one of the lightest e-bike-certified helmet on the market,” says MET.
The E-Mob features MET’s Safe-T Sport fit system, which offers 360 degrees of adjustment, along with a ratchet buckle to help avert unwelcome skin pinches.
At the rear, the E-Mob comprises a USB LED light with three modes (steady, pulse and blinking), as well as a reflective rear decal in order to boost visibility in traffic, while head protection comes courtesy of a MIPS-C2 system.
The E-Mob is available in three sizes, ranging from 52cm to 61cm, along with eight different color choices for £100.
MET also offers a non-MIPS version for £70.
