Momentum has unveiled its first throttle controlled eBike called the Cito E+, which draws its inspiration from the motorbike segment, offering a level of performance that’s above and beyond most eBikes thanks to its robust motor and battery configuration, while a wide-range of accessories further adds to the bike’s ability to tackle the cityscape with confidence and convenience.

Whether heading to work, getting groceries or exploring the outdoors, the Cito E+ offers a natural riding experience.”
Agile and powerful, the Cito E+ features a 750W SyncDrive Move S motor with 80Nm torque, an 8-speed drivetrain, and PedalPlus technology that incorporates rotation, torque and cadence sensor technology to produce a natural-feeling ride. The Cito E+ includes 20” x 4” wide grippy tires that provide comfort and stability, an ALUXX-grade aluminum low step-thru frameset, front suspension, and an open cockpit that makes it easy for riders to get on and off the bike. Cito E+ fits rider heights between 4’9” – 6’3”.
Throttle Functionality and Longest Assist Range on the Market
The Cito E+, blending Class 2 and Class 3 E-bike functionality, goes up to 20 mph with the throttle and up to 28 mph in pedal assist mode. Cito E+ offers three modes: Eco, Active or Power, which provide assistance of 80 to 400% of a rider’s effort. When using the throttle in Eco mode, riders can expect to travel up to 45 miles. Pedal assist delivers up to 75 miles of range on a single charge, the longest range available pedal assist range currently on the market for an E-bike.
Unrivaled Safety and Convenience
Loaded with moto-inspired design, safety and comfort, the Cito E+ includes a luxe saddle, fenders, E-horn, a powerful LED light with day and night modes, a rear brake light with turn signal function for visibility, lockable storage container, and ability to be stored upright for space saving.
Designed to prioritize safety, the Cito E+’s throttle function activates when a rider’s speed exceeds 3.5 mph and an auto brake cut-off stops all electric power when the rider presses the brake. This eliminates the potential for power conflicts while riding to ensure confidence and control in all conditions.
Premium Battery and Battery Management System (BMS)
The Cito E+ has a 780Wh capacity battery with E-bike optimized cell technology that was co-developed with Panasonic to integrate the groundbreaking 22700 cell type, a high-density battery that is lightweight, efficient and extremely durable. The battery is locked to the bike frame with a key, and can either be charged directly, or removed from the bike to be recharged.
Momentum’s proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) monitors the battery pack and individual cells to ensure each cell is regulated for maximum efficiency and prevents overheating, resulting in premium, reliable, high-performing batteries with the highest safety standards. Designed to achieve IPX7 waterproof standards, the Cito E+ battery, motor and controller are water resistant.
Impressive Payload Capacity and Must-Have Accessories
With a total payload capacity of 408 pounds, the frame-integrated rear rack can carry over 130 pounds. With a wide variety of accessories, riders can outfit the Cito E+ to suit their needs and lifestyle. From daily errands, to family and friends on board, it’s designed to be customized. Riders can choose to customize with: add-on top tube with storage, mirrors, front rack, tote bag, rear rack, pannier bags, cargo straps, passenger seat, passenger bar, foot rests, wheel guards, bench seat, center kickstand, and offers compatibility with third-party baby seats and other accessories.

The Cito E+ joins Momentum’s full range of innovative electric, hybrid, and city bikes designed to meet growing demands for sustainable, convenient ways to get around. It will be available in select U.S. markets starting in November 2023 for $3,200.
