Mosaic Cycles has unveiled its latest road bike called the RT-1 ITR Custom, which features increased tire clearance and a sleek, new integrated cockpit system courtesy of ENVE.
According to Mosaic, the new suffix ITR, stands for “Integrated Thick Road”, as evidenced by the bike’s ability to accommodate tires up to a hefty 35mm in some instances, while ENVE’s integrated fork, headset, Aero Stem and handlebar nicely conceal all cabling and hoses for a clean aesthetic.
“We anticipate that there will be several 34-35mm tires that, depending on the rim they’re paired with, will not work with the RT-1 ITR, as their actual width measures far over 35mm. If you’re curious about the tires we’ve tried and the ones we’ve landed upon as favorites, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We would be happy to provide a recommendation,” explains Mosaic.
The frame itself, sticks with Mosaic’s redoubtable custom-butted, size-specific T3A/2.5V titanium tubes, offering both standard and custom geometry options, along with an endless array of bespoke finishes through Spectrum Paint and Powderworks.
Pricing for the RT-1ITR frameset starts at $8,200, which comes fitted with ENVE’s integrated fork, stem, headset and seatpost.
