The Amazing Chase is a new film from Wahoo that follows ultra cyclist Jack Thompson’s attempt to ride the entire 2021 Tour de France route as fast as possible, beating the peloton to Paris in the process.
Earlier this summer, Thompson took on a challenge to ride the entire 2021 Tour de France route, giving the peloton a head start and aiming to beat them to Paris.
Over the course of just 10 days, he rode the 3,552-kilometer (2,207-mile) course with 52,000 meters (170,603 feet) of climbing, for a combined total of 127 hours of riding.
Presented by Wahoo, The Amazing Chase is a 30-minute video that chronicles his ride and dives deeper into topics surrounding mental health along the way.
