Officina Battaglin is dazzling traditionalists with its latest Grand Tour road bike, marking the vaunted Italian brand’s first foray into the endurance segment.
Crafted from GB81 tubing, a custom version of Columbus’ Spirit HSS, and Battaglin’s meticulous fillet-brazing, the Grand Tour boasts the stiffness and compliance one would expect from the venerable tubeset, along with clearance that can accommodate tires up to a beefy 35mm, allowing roadies to tackle both the tarmac and the road less traveled.
“For many of us, the sense of freedom that comes with exploring unfamiliar and unbeaten roads is what makes a long ride worthwhile. We designed the Grand Tour to satisfy this craving for exploration”, said Officina Battaglin’s CEO, Alex Battaglin.
Not surprising, the Grand Tour is treated to Battaglin’s captivating Cromovelato finish, which is offered in two colors – red and blue.
