Orbea has decided to give its Orca road bike a facelift sans the botox, instead treating it to an updated cockpit and new wheels.
Now sporting Orbea’s new OC SH RA10 integrated cockpit, everything is not only aero-tidy and bike computer ready, but the Spanish brand is offering no fewer than 11 sizes. Better still, weight weenies will rejoice knowing that a size 100/38cm tips the scales at an impressive 313 grams.
Elsewhere, the Orca is treated to latest generation RP35 LTD, RP50 LTD and RA57 LTD wheelsets that spin on Orbea’s newly launched Q10 hubs, weighing in at a scant 104g for the front and 175g for the rear.
Additionally, Orbea decided to up the styling quotient on the top-tier Orca OMX frame as well, offering three all-new colorways that include Spark Silver/Titan Grey Fade, Escape Green and Diamond Carbon Sunset, while tipping the scales at a feathery 745 grams.
The Orca is available in a number of different guises, with build options that span everything from Shimano 105 Di2 to Dura Ace Di2 and SRAM RED AXS.
