Parlee Dazzles with Z-Zero GT 25th Anniversary Road Bike

Parlee is dazzling enthusiasts with its 25th Anniversary Z-Zero GT road bike, not just with its bespoke flair, but with its staggering price of $30,000 as well.

“In 1999, Bob Parlee left his storied career as a boat builder to make the best bikes in the world, and he woke up every day working relentlessly toward that goal. Bob was a visionary, crafting some of the world’s finest carbon fiber road bikes, known for their incredible ride quality, and also for pushing forward the state of the art as an early adopter of aerodynamics, disc brakes, and electronic drivetrains. We had the privilege of working hand in hand with Bob each day until his untimely death from cancer in late 2024. As we carry on his work, we wanted to build a bike to honor him and his vision,” says Parlee.

Limited to just 25 bikes, the special edition Z-Zero GT features curated components that span Campagnolo’s new Super Record Wireless 13 speed groupset that’s fitted with an SRM power meter and a Black Inc one-piece handlebar and stem, while things spin a set of uber exclusive Partington R-Series full-carbon wheels.

Elsewhere, the Z-Zero GT is adorned with precious hardware as well, with PVD coated titanium bolts and hardware from Dede Elementi, Better Bolts and Parlee itself punctuating the bike. The styling quotient is further enhanced by an intricate, multi-fade paint scheme – complete with gold leaf embellishments.

If that’s not enough, the anniversary bike comes with a custom painted Silca SuperPista floor pump and hex wrench set with Bob Parlee’s signature inscribed on the wooden box, along with a custom pair of Lake shoes that are treated to the same color scheme and gold accents as the bike.
