Pirelli has gone super stealth with the launch of its new all-black P ZERO Race TLR NERO, bucking the trend of nude sidewalls that seem to be awash in the road and gravel tire segments these days.
“The P ZERO Race TLR Race TLR is the most performing tire in our portfolio, as well as being the first tire with a tubeless technology entirely made in Italy. The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120tpi casing features the use of a layer of compound mixed with aramid, which covers the inner layer of the tire, improving either the smoothness and the resistance of the rubber. Result: a less stiff but faster tire. The compound, on the other hand, maintains the same advanced SmartEVO technology, shared with the other high-performance tires in the PZERO range,” boasts the Italian brand.
Featuring no label or colored accents to speak of, the Pirelli describes P ZERO Race TLR NERO as having a “velvet touch” finish, which even comes with its own understated packaging.
The new P-ZERO Race TLR NERO is available in 700×28 and 700×30, which sells for $85.00.
