Ridley Enters the Triathlon Segment with New Triton Fast

After extensive R&D and collaboration with top triathletes such as World Champion Jelle Greens, Ridley has entered the triathlon segment with the launch of its Triton Fast, featuring an innovative modular design that the Belgian brands says “radically cheats the wind”.

In triathlon, air resistance plays a bigger role than in any other discipline. That’s why the Triton Fast was optimized down to the smallest details in independent wind tunnel tests: from tube shapes and cockpit to the integration of packs and nutrition. 

On top of that, the Triton Fast sets new standards for weight: the frameset (frame + fork) is no less than 325 grams lighter than the comparable top model from the main competitor (total weight frame + fork: 1,800 g) —delivering extra acceleration and energy effi ciency during long races.

The Triton Fast introduces progressive, triathlon-specific geometry that positions the athlete closer to the bottom bracket for maximum power transfer and stability. Thanks to innovative flip chips in the fork, every rider can fine-tune the steering behavior with millimeter precision to match the course and personal preference—from extra stable to ultra-agile. 

ADVANCED COCKPIT 

The Triton Fast cockpit is engineered for maximum adjustability. With an innovative mono-riser system and wing, the athlete can continuously adjust height, reach, and angle. This makes it easier to find the perfect position and guarantees an aerodynamic advantage. What’s more, the cockpit can be disassembled with just two bolts, making travel and transport simpler. 

SMART INTEGRATION OF HYDRATION AND STORAGE

Unique is the internal hydration system that runs through a tunnel in the frame. Triathletes can keep drinking while remaining fully in the time-trial position—good for free seconds gained. In addition, Ridley provides a modular storage system with packs strategically integrated into the frame. Nutrition, tools, and waste all get an aerodynamic place without disturbing the airflow.

For the 1×13 configurations, Ridley deliberately chose maximum aerodynamics by removing the front derailleur and using aero-specific chainrings, air resistance is further reduced. As part of Ridley’s Elite Series, the model is fully customizable via the online configurator, allowing every triathlete to choose their own colors and design.
