Ridley Introduces New Kanzo Adventure Alu Gravel Bike

Ridley has introduced the latest addition to its Kanzo range of gravel bikes dubbed the Kanzo Adventure Alu, an all-new aluminum version of its popular and well-established Kanzo Adventure.

“It is our ambition to offer a high-quality bike at every price point, which is why we are applying the winning formula of the Kanzo Adventure to an aluminum frame,” says the Belgian brand.

Like its carbon fiber counterpart, the Kanzo Adventure Alu boasts the same geometry as a modern hardtail mountain bike such as a lower bottom bracket, a slacker head angle, a longer wheelbase and a steeper seat angle, while relying on a shorter stem to boost responsiveness.

Additionally, adaptability was also a major consideration for the Kanzo Adventure Alu, which features no fewer than 12 mounting points on the frame and 6 on the fork, along with provisions for bottle cages, bike bags and a tool kit. Moreover, lighting and mudguards can also be fitted thanks to cable routing and mounts via the fork and seatstays.

Elsewhere, the Kanzo Adventure Alu can accommodate tires up to 52mm, a significant increase compared to the Kanzo Fast (42 millimeters), ensuring that riders have options available for a wide variety of terrain.

“Our new Kanzo Adventure Alu brings all the features and versatility of the award-winning carbon Kanzo Adventure in a bomb-proof alloy version ready to go out and explore the world. The geometry gives enough trust to conquer rough terrain thanks to a slacker headtube angle, a lower bottom bracket and a steeper seat tube. At the same time, we keep the handling very responsive by using a shorter stem. The numerous mounting points on the frame allow you the personalize your setup depending on the needs of your next adventure. Change the position of your bottle cages when you ride with frame bags, add a tool kit, an extra bottle cage or mudguards on the frame or cargo cages on the fork … the Kanzo Adventure A offers you plenty of flexibility. The neatly integrated routing for a hub dynamo and lights allows you to keep riding through the night on your next adventure or ultra ride,” adds Ridley.

The Kanzo Adventure Alu is available in a number of builds with prices starting at €1,999.00 for a Shimano GRX400 equipped bike, to the range-topping model that’s fitted with a SRAM Apex XPLR AXS drivetrain for €2,899.00.
