ROSE Dazzles with New Colorways for Flagship Xlite 06 Road Bike

ROSE has launched a couple of new colorways for its flagship Xlite 06 road bike, dazzling enthusiasts with two stunning paint schemes called Supersonic Grey and Silverback.

The Xlite 06 is a WorldTour level bike, which comes equipped with high-end groupsets that span Shimano Ultegra and Dura-Ace Di2, as well as SRAM Force and Red AXS, while the rubber meets the road via ROSE’s own RC SIXTY carbon wheels that spin on Newmen hubs and SAPIM bladed aero spokes.

Elsewhere, the Xlite 06 is treated to ROSE’s one-piece handlebar and stem that tips the scales at an impressive 395 grams.

Speaking of scales, ROSE claims the Xlite 06 frame weighs in at a scant 870 grams for a size 57cm, a figure that will surely win plaudits amongst the weight weenies crowd, especially considering that weight is based on a considerably large frame.

However, what’s perhaps the most alluring about the Xlite 06, is the price, offering disciples of the German brand complete builds that start at a paltry €5,099.00 for an Ultegra Di2 equipped bike, to the range-topping Dura-Ace and Red AXS variants that fetch a reasonable €6,699.00 and €7,499.00, respectively.

“Starting at 6.9 kg, the Xlite 06 is the ultra-light flagship in the ROSE road bike portfolio and is aimed at ambitious athletes who do not want to compromise on performance, equipment and design. The bike also impresses with its perfect balance of aerodynamics, lightweight construction and system integration, which is crucial to the performance of the Xlite 06. In addition to a race-orientated riding position and first-class ergonomics, its design also supports optimum aerodynamics and control. The ROSE RC SIXTY carbon wheels with 60mm rim depth and 21 mm inner rim width are the perfect symbiosis of aerodynamic advantage and lightweight construction, while the frame and rims allow for a modern tire width of up to 32 mm for comfort and additional versatility. The aggressive stack-to-reach ratio (STR) of 1.4 (frame height 57) emphasizes the race-oriented frame geometry of the Xlite 06,” boasts ROSE.

“Equipping each model with a power meter was the next logical step in perfectly aligning the Xlite 06 with its intended use – being fast and looking stylish at the same time. All specifications have been fine-tuned down to the last detail in terms of aerodynamics, ride, feel and performance, creating a bike that is unrivalled – in our portfolio and far beyond,” adds Jonas Tenbrock, Product Manager.
