ROSE Expands Its Range of Gravel Bikes with New Hobo Dropbar

ROSE has expanded its range of gravel bikes with the launch of the new Hobo Dropbar, treating gravelers and bikepackers alike to a robust steel frame that’s equipped a durable Shimano mechanical GRX groupset to tackle the great expanse.

“Our new Hobo Dropbar  proves that steel as a frame material cannot be beaten with its latest gravel bike. This is a bulletproof and well thought-out adventure bike that can be used for everything from everyday urban life to extended bikepacking adventures. It is also the first drop bar bike in the direct seller’s current product range to use a steel frame instead of carbon or aluminum. This clearly sets it apart from the Backroad family or the recently released Blend,” boasts ROSE.

The Hobo Dropbar is based on the same frameset as the Hobo flat bar cruiser, instead opting for a Ritchey Venture Max Gravel handlebar similar to what’s found on the Backroad AL, while reliable shifting comes courtesy of a Shimano 1×11 GRX 810 groupset, with rubber meeting the ground via ROSE’s 650B G25 aluminum wheelset that’s shod with 47mm WTB Venture tires for excellent grip and handling.

Elsewhere, the Hobo Dropbar is treated to a carbon fork to smooth out the terrain, along with a front rack and no fewer than 14 attachment points for additional luggage options and mudguards.

The Hobo Dropbar is available in a range of sizes than span Small to Large, along with two stylish colorways, pine green (dark green) and maliblue (turquoise), which sells for €1899.
