Santini is showing off its latest Ombra unisex collection for SS24, showcasing a host of new fabric technologies.
Designed in partnership with the Tour de Tietema-Unibet cycling team, the Ombra collection comprises both short and long-sleeve jerseys in six standout colors.
The short sleeve jersey option makes use of Polartec’s Power Stretch fabric on the front and back for durable shape recovery, along with Polartec’s Delta on the sides for a fast transmission of sweat away from the body. Santini said the jersey guarantees incredible comfort, rapid drying, and great breathability. The slim fit with elongated raw-cut sleeves and an internal silicon gripper at the waistband ensures the jersey is always in position, while a triple back pocket provides plenty of storage and it also features UPV30 + sun protection.
The long-sleeve jersey has some eco-friendly credentials such as recycled fabrics coming from PET and waste yarns featuring a fresh feel on the skin, and extra sun protection (UPF 50+) and triple rear pockets feature, plus a silicon gripper at the waist to keep the jersey always in place.
“Ombre is at the heart of Santini’s inclusive and sustainability policies, but it also is an extremely practical solution to a buying decision,” says Santini. “The dilemma of buyers in whether to invest in both male and female ranges is in one go removed, by having a Unisex fit. The only decision then is how do I choose from all these colors.”
