Saris has announced the launch of its latest direct-drive trainer called the H4, boasting 12-speed compatibility, improved 1% power accuracy and the ability to simulate 25% grades and measure up to 2,300 watts of power.
“The H4 is our most powerful and accurate direct drive trainer to date, it sets a new trainer standard with industry leading high-inertia ride feel, and all-new 1% power accuracy. Experience the world’s most challenging climbs from the comfort of your home with 25% simulated incline grade and be ready to put the hammer down on high-octane sprints up to 2,300 watts. The H4 continues Saris’ legacy of exceptional quality and durability with an enhanced cast aluminum housing made in America’s heartland, best-in-class lifetime frame,” says Saris
This upgrade puts the H4 on-par with the industry’s leading trainers in key specs like power accuracy and max wattage.
With this release, the price of the Saris’ previous top-of-the-line trainer, the H3, has been dropped from $1,199 to $799.
The H3 is already a well-respected trainer, which has the same heavy-duty cast aluminum housing and beefy 20# flywheel, along with one of the most highly regarded ERG-mode functions on the market.
This upgrade puts the H4 on-par with the industry’s leading trainers (Tacx Neo 2T and Wahoo KICKR 5) in key specs like power accuracy and max wattage.
