The Hong Kong electronics company Smartutech is debuting its latest cycling product called the 4-in-1 Multifunctional Bike Stopwatch, which offers functions that span a headlight, smartphone holder and cyclometer in one device that easily mounts to any handlebar.
At the center of the 300 gram 4-in-1 Multifunctional Bike Stopwatch, is a fork-mounted sensor that wirelessly communicates all data like average speed, highest speed, distance travelled, calories burned, elapsed time, time of day and the charge level of its 5,000-mAh lithium battery via a 2.4-inch LCD screen.
Additionally, if riders wish to keep their smartphone handy for navigation, communications or other purposes, they can mount it on the 4-in-1’s adjustable-size dock, while an integrated 10-watt wireless charger can also charge the phone from the main device’s battery.
When it starts getting dark, the 4-in-1 Multifunctional Bike Stopwatch’s dual-LED headlight can be activated, offering Low, High and Flashing modes with a maximum combined output of 1,000 lumens with a claimed battery life of up to 8 hours.
Elsewhere, the 4-in-1 Multifunctional Bike Stopwatch’s wheel sensor is powered by a separate button cell battery, along with IP65 water-resistant properties for all of the device’s electronics.
The 4-in-1 Multifunctional Bike Stopwatch is currently the subject of a crowd-funding campaign, offering early-backers a special introductory price of $49.00, compared to the planned retail price of $89.00.
