SRM has launched new crank arms for its modular Origin Aero Aluminum power meter system that allows riders to easily change their crank arm length thanks to interchangeable tips that can be swapped out in a matter of seconds.
According to SRM, the Origin Aero Aluminum is supplied with seven crank tips in different anodized colors that enable riders to alter their crank arm length in 2.5 mm increments from 160mm up to 175mm.
“Versatility is a core idea of our modular Origin PowerMeter system. Our new AERO ALUMINIUM cranks, push this idea to a new level. With 7 interchangeable crank tips, you have the option to change your crank length without the need to disable your bike and cranks. Also, with a Q-Factor of 144 mm on the road and 140 mm on the track, it is our narrowest crankset yet. The shape of the crank is determined by the optimal ratio between narrow frontal and wide side area, to offer the lowest possible aerodynamic drag and best efficiency,” boasts SRM.
Pricing for the new Origin Aero Aluminum power meter system starts at €2,015, with numerous spider and chainring options available.
