100% has unveiled its latest model of cycling glasses called the Speedtrap, which are apparently so good, not even World Champion Peter Sagan can resist wearing them.
While the 100% brand is not new to the motorsports industry (think motocross), it’s only been during the last couple of years that they’ve crossed into the road cycling segment.
The Speedtrap features 100%’s “three-way fit” temples, allowing adjustability to fit a range of different head shapes and sizes, along with a series of vents to prevent fogging.
In addition, the Speedtrap features a special “Hydroilo” coating that helps to reduce oil and water build-up, as well as provide protection from UVA, UVB and UVC rays.
According to 100%, the Speedtrap is available in six different colors, along with a choice of either clear, electric blue mirror, black mirror, green mirror or multi-layer orange mirror lens, which can be switched out via the glasses’ quick-release lens system
The starting price for the Speedtrap is $185, which comes with spare lens, a microbag and a larger protective case.
