Ryan Trebon and Katerina Nash captured the overall titles of the 2013 Cross After Dark series following wins at the Los Angeles finale race CXLA yesterday. It was Trebon’s first win of the national series title after taking second to Ben Berden (Raleigh-Clement) in 2012. Berden was leading the series standings heading into Los Angeles but finished off the podium in 5th giving the advantage to Trebon. Tim Johnson finished 3rd in the series.
For Nash it was her second Cross After Dark series title after taking the 2011 series win. Nash bested Nicole Duke (Marin-Spy Optic) who moved intothe 2nd spot. Courtenay McFadden took 3rd place honors for the series.
The Cross After Dark series includes Clif Bar CrossVegas held in Las Vegas in September, Gateway Cross Cup held in St. Louis in October, Lionhearts International Cross held in Cincinnati during November and CXLA held in Los Angeles in late November.
