The UK production company, Sky High films, nicely captured the "grunt and grind" of last Sunday’s grueling annual Monsal Hill Climb.
The hill climb event is one of the most popular hillclimb events in the Derbyshire area. The picturesque setting of Monsal Dale attracts a large crowd, even on a Sunday morning !
Now in it’s 84th year, the event continues to attract a diverse group of riders ranging from local cycling clubs to seasoned professionals. Past winners include Tom Simpson, Malcolm Elliott and more recently Russell Downing, Dean Downing and Adam Blythe. Monsal Head is famous for it’s beautiful views of Monsal Dale and Wye Valley.
