In addition to the eighteen WorldTour teams scheduled to take part in the 2014 Tour de France, four "wildcard" teams were announced today.
The four Pro Continental teams that made the selection were Cofidis, IAM Cycling, Bretagne-Séché Environnement and NetApp-Endura.
Unfortunately, Tour hopefuls like MTN-Qhubeka, IAM Cycling and Caja Rural were not chosen.
