Brooks of England has partnered with the American denim marker, Levi’s, to launch a limited edition Cambium C17 saddle.
The new saddle distinguishes itself from the original C17, by using a combination of vulcanized natural rubber, cotton canvas and structural textile for the top, instead of a sheet of leather across the ends of the rails.
In addition, instead of the usual organic cotton, the saddles will feature recycled Levi’s denim, which was donated last summer from Levi’s Commuter Workspaces in New York, Los Angeles and London.
The result will be different color patterns and finishes between each saddles, which according to Brooks, only adds to the exclusivity of limited 1000 saddles they plan to make.
Starting this week, the new saddle is available at Brooks’ online store for around $225.00.
